Welcome to Noble Avenue Elementary!
I'm Joseph Prendez, the proud Principal at Noble Avenue Elementary. As a school community, our continued effort of delivering the promise of a quality public education depends on all of our stakeholders to be active participants towards student proficiency. The culture of Noble Avenue Elementary is to provide rigorous lessons at every grade level that challenge students to become independent thinkers to support our goal of preparing students to be Ready for the World.
Using the Common Core standards as our guide, mastery requires students to take a Personal Responsibility In Developing Excellence (P.R.I.D.E.) by being actively engaged in class, complete assigned work within due dates, and complete homework which is an extension of the school day. As a School for Advanced Studies (SAS), project based learning, differentiated instruction, intervention, and enrichment opportunities are key to our success.
I encourage parents to support our ongoing efforts and instill the same level of expectations for your child to be in school each day, on time, and no more than seven absences for the entire year. Our collective efforts solidify our ongoing school performance trends that continue to grow with a dedicated staff and school supports to provide a safe learning environment for all of our students.
I encourage you to share the same enthusiasm and show your P.R.I.D.E by becoming actively involved in our school community either by communicating with your child's teacher, actively utilizing the Parent Portal, and volunteering at our school.
