Caught Being Good Store

Caught Being Good Store will be January 30 to February 3.

DIBELS Progress Monitoring

Progress Monitoring of our students with a red composite score must be done every two weeks in their lowest deficit measure while students with a yellow composite score must be done every four weeks.  From Jan7 to Jan 20, 58% of our 281 students with a red composite score were progress monitored.  From January 7 to January 20, 34% of our 94 students with a yellow composite score were progress monitored.  Our next round of Progress Monitoring for students with a red composite will be February 2 using form 9.  One reason our percentage may be low is because of you are in the midst of administering MOY.

Elementary Math Updates

  • The Edulastic CFA2 testing window is January 23 - February 10. Please see the Edulastic Office Hours Flyer, CFA Blueprints and playlist for support.
    • The assessment will be automatically assigned to teachers who are roster carrying and assigned to that grade level in MiSiS.  Teachers CANNOT assign the CFA test to students.  Only Edulastic will be able to do that.
    • If the assessment was not assigned directly to the students by Edulastic, teachers can reach out to Edulastic to request the test be assigned to their class.  Edulastic will need the teacher’s name, email, school, grade level, and textbook (Eureka or IM) to accurately assign the test if it is missing.
    • For immediate assistance call Edulastic at +1 (510) 996-5914 or email support@edulastic.com

Parking Lot Gates

Hours Parking Lot Gates are Open:  6:00-8:00 a.m. and 2:15-4:30 p.m.

Gates must be closed and locked at all other times.  Recently, I have been finding the parking lot gate by the cafeteria (which does not unlock with a c-key) open as I leave between 5:00-6:00 p.m.  For the safety of all Staff and Students in our After School Programs, if you see the gate open after 4:30 p.m., please close it.

Paper.Co

Please continue to remind students to use Paper.Co for all their homework needs.  From January 9 to January 20 there have only been 9 sessions.

Save the Date & Time-Saturday, March 11, 8:30-11:30 a.m.

All Teachers and Itinerants are invited to the Lakeshore Learning Store in Northridge for a shopping spree with expenses covered by Noble.  More information to follow!
