The Last Day of School
Thank you to each and every one of you for what you’ve done this school year to make it a successful one for the students. For some of our students we were the structure they needed. For others we were the genuine warmth and smiles they needed. As I reflect on my third year at Noble, I am grateful to work with a staff that continuously pours their heart and soul into not only providing on target instruction but also enriching students’ lives by participating in all our programs and events. I thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Best wishes for a relaxing and rejuvenating summer surrounded by those you love and those who love you.

Computer Rooms and Technology Carts

Last week was the last week for use.

LAUSD’s Wellness Program

Noble has been selected to receive additional support from LAUSD Wellness Program, over the next two years, in partnership with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation.  Their goal is to help our school become healthier.

I need a teacher who is willing to be the school lead who will attend annual professional development workshops (during the school day; trainings may be at Beaudry) focused on strategies to support changes around healthy eating and physical activity.  Also, the school lead and myself will meet 3-4 times with a Program manager throughout the year to support our school at your site.

The lead will receive a half stipend (approximately $600) and facilitate our new Wellness Committee.   If you are interested in being the lead, please let me know ASAP.

Reclassification Update

Congratulations to Noble’s students who have reclassified!  We have reclassified 14 students during EOY!  Students who reclassified will be recognized during the power reader assemblies that will take place on Tuesday at the same times as Student of the Month assemblies.  Invitations for their families will be sent home.

2018 Noble Yearbook

Please remind students that they can purchase a yearbook, the price is now $20. They can stop by the office and purchase it there. A flyer was sent home. Please help us promote it!
