Retentions – Due Wednesday, April 11th
Please refer to the Retention Policy and utilize the Retention Matrix for all referrals, which are due April 11th. It is the referring teacher’s responsibility to read the entire Retention Policy and comply with ALL guidelines.


Suicide Prevention and Awareness Training

Policy bulletin MEM-6910.1 is a mandate that requires ALL LAUSD employees to complete the Suicide Prevention and Awareness Training and assessment annually. You have been auto-enrolled in this 40-minute web-based training.The deadline for this compliance cycle is May 23, 2018.

New employees hired after May 1st are required to complete this training by the end of the month following the month of their hire.

Parent Conferences

I am still missing a few Parent Conference sign in forms, please turn them in as soon as possible.



We are officially in “ELPAC mode!”  I want to say thank you very much for all your hard work and dedication. Please follow the schedule provided. Remember that during this time any use of electronic devices is prohibited. 


Please pick up tests from my office beginning at 7:30 a.m. and turn in by 2:45 p.m. daily.  The ELPAC is a secured test and must be stored in a secure location daily. 


Consolidated Charitable Campaign

Thank you to all that participated in The Consolidated Charitable Campaign!



SSC will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 2:40 in the library.


Jump Rope for Heart Dance Party

Students who collected a minimum of $15 dollars for the Heart association will be invited to a dance party on Friday, March 23, 2018.  More information to follow.

Career Day

We are still currently looking for professional role models to volunteer their time to share their professional expertise with our students. If you know of anyone that can volunteer please see me in room 4B or return the notice that was placed in your box last week.
